How to Play
Learn the block busting basics!
Basic Controls
Using your stylus and the Nintendo DS buttons, solving puzzles is a cinch! Check out the pointers below and then try these demos yourself.
How to Remove
Hold X button or up on the D-pad and tap a cube to make it go bye-bye. Don't take out the wrong pieces though, or you'll get a strike!
How to Mark
When you know a cube is part of your prize underneath, hold Y button or right on the D-pad when you tap to mark it.
Numbers
See this on a cube and you know that number of continuous cubes belong in the row or column. Figuring out which ones to keep is up to you!
Circle Numbers
Does your puzzle have circle numbers? That means there are two groups separated by space, and one or more cubes in that row need to skidaddle!
Square Numbers
A block with square numbers has three or more groupings in its row. Can you figure out which cubes need to go? Just use your noggin'!
Slicers
You'll need these slicers to get a peek inside the blocks-you're not just smashing cubes without a strategy here! Get a closer look at which cubes should stay and which ones should go.
Stars
Aim for speedy perfection when you tackle these puzzles to earn stars! How many you get depends on your performance:
Perfect!
Wow! Within the green time limit and no strikes!
Nice Time!
Not perfect, but pretty close!
Well Done!
Whew! At least it's finished!
Tip:
Rake in those stars to unlock more bonus puzzles and some dastardly challenges for the seasoned Picross 3D mastermind!
